O foaie, un drum si ispita unui joc.
Treptat, povestile si-au coborat firul tematic din inaltul cerului populat cu zeitati invaluite in mister, inspre pamantenele griji si framantari omenesti. Povestea nu mai venea doar sa-i tina de urat omului, in fata propriilor temeri, ci si ca sa-l invete sa se adaptaze conditiilor vietii sociale, cu noile provocari pe care aceasta i le aseza in fata. Aceasta stare de fapt este tot mai des nuantata si in strategiile corporate. Astfel incat auzim din ce in ce mai mult pe la conferinte ca un leader autentic este acela care are o poveste puternica, putand sa-si auto-genereze propria legenda, determinand prin puterea sa de fascinatie devotamentul angajatilor, partenerilor, colaboratorilor sai.
Monica Brandusescu este licentiata in filosofia culturii, absolvind Facultatea de Filosofie a Universitatii Bucuresti. A absolvit Ecole Doctorale Francophone en Sciences Sociales, Europe Centrale et Orientale, studiind cultura antitotalitara in Romania de dupa '89, cu studiu de caz pe Editura Humanitas.
"Povestitor" este o serie de conferinte in cadrul expozitiei "Statement" curatoriata de Lia Perjovschi.

One paper, one path and the temptation of a game.
Gradually, the stories have lowered their thematic thread from heaven, populated by gods, enveloped in mystery, towards earthly cares and human worries. The story isn't there just to keep the human company, in front of his own fears, but also to teach him to adapt to social live situations, to new challenges he may come across. This situation is seen, more often,nuanced, in corporate strategies. So much that, we hear more and more, in conferences, lectures, that an genuine leader is the one who has a powerful story, being able to self-generate his own legend, by inducing through his fascinating strengh the employees, partners and collaborators' devotion.
Monica Brandusescu graduated philosophy of culture at Bucharest University. She also graduated Ecole Doctorale Francophone en Sciences Sociales, Europe Centrale et Orientale, with a case study on anti- totalitarian culture on a publishing house (Humanitas) in after '89 Romania.
"Storyteller" is a lecture series part of the exhibition "Statement" curated by Lia Perjovschi.
